Kina’s experience includes over 20 years of designing a wide variety of project types, from buildings to landscapes. She is an expert synthesizer of the multiple forces that influence design and the crafting of spaces, arriving quickly at solutions that meet the client’s needs. In addition to her architecture and landscape work, Kina taught construction methods for twelve years at Oregon Tradeswomen, Inc. She has also been the co-owner of two well-known restaurants in Portland, where she honed her entrepreneurial skills while effectively delegating to both staff and contractors. Through her diverse creative practices, she has cultivated a positive, direct, no-nonsense approach to accomplishing a project’s objectives.
